Magnetostrictive hydrostatic level gauge

The hydrostatic level gauging system is a high-precision liquid level measurement system, suitable for measuring the relative settlement of multiple points. In use, the hydrostatic level gauging system installs multiple hydrostatic level gauges at multiple monitoring points, one of which is chosen as the reference datum point. The gauges are connected together so that the liquid surfaces inside all the gauges lie in the same horizontal plane. In this way, when settlement occurs at a certain monitoring point, the liquid level height inside each gauge changes. Each gauge measures the liquid level height inside itself by means of its own internal measuring device, and the liquid level height information of each gauge is transmitted to the back-end system. After calculation, the back-end system obtains the relative settlement of each monitoring point with respect to the reference datum point.

Magnetostrictive hydrostatic level gauge

Overview

Making use of the principle of communicating vessels and of level surfaces, the liquid surfaces of several magnetostrictive level gauges connected together by communicating pipes always lie in the same horizontal plane. When settlement occurs at a certain point, the liquid level height of the equipment at each point changes. From the change in liquid level height at each monitoring point, the relative settlement and differential settlement of each hydrostatic level gauge can be calculated. The liquid height is measured by a magnetostrictive sensor, which calculates the liquid level height from the time difference between the pulse emitted by the electrical excitation and the reflected pulse.
