Laser Displacement Sensor

The CA-GC40 laser displacement meter is a distance measuring device independently developed by our company. It offers accurate, fast, long-distance and non-contact measurement, and is mainly used to measure fixed objects. The object being measured should be light in colour with a rough surface. A smooth and dark surface may cause increased error or even measurement failure, and will also affect the service life of the sensor.

Laser Displacement Sensor

Overview

This series of laser distance measuring sensors uses the phase comparison principle for measurement. The laser sensor emits visible laser beams of different frequencies and receives the scattered laser light returned from the object being measured. The received laser signal is compared with a reference signal, and finally a microprocessor calculates the object distance corresponding to the phase offset, achieving millimetre-level measurement accuracy.

Applications

  • Displacement monitoring for bridges, tunnels, buildings and similar.

Key Features

  • High accuracy: resolution 0.1 mm, single-acquisition accuracy better than 1 mm.
  • Wide-voltage supply: 9-24 V.
  • Low power consumption: 0.2 W in standby, 1.2 W in operation.
  • 485 digital signal output, with no need for an external data logger.
