Products / Axial force meter
The CA-ZL series vibrating wire axial force meter (shown in Figure 1-1 below), also known as a reaction force meter, is a vibrating wire force sensor. It offers high resolution, strong anti-interference performance, sensitive response to concentrated loads and reliable measured values, and can measure over the long term the reaction force of a foundation on the superstructure, the axial force of steel struts and the load during static pressure pile tests. If a temperature sensor is fitted, the temperature at the installation point can be measured simultaneously.

Figure 1-1 Physical view of the axial force meter
The vibrating wire axial force meter mainly consists of a load-bearing round steel bar, a string clamp, an induction coil and a high-strength steel wire. The excitation circuit drives the sensor coil. When the frequency of the excitation signal approaches the natural frequency of the steel string, the steel string quickly reaches resonance. After the excitation signal is removed, the steel string continues to vibrate at its natural frequency for some time. The monitoring circuit of the acquisition instrument filters, amplifies and shapes the induced signal produced by the vibration and then acquires it. By measuring the pulse period of the induced signal, the vibration frequency of the string can be determined. The internal structure is shown in Figure 2-1.
