Products / Anchor cable dynamometer
The CA-MS series vibrating wire anchor cable dynamometer (shown in Figure 1-1 below) is mainly used to monitor changes in stress in anchor cables and rock bolts in geotechnical engineering, civil building structures and underground caverns. The dynamometer uses high-quality imported steel string, advanced manufacturing and installation methods and a fully waterproof sealed structure, offering high sensitivity, high reliability and long-term stability.

Figure 1-1 Physical view of the anchor cable dynamometer
The anchor cable dynamometer mounts a high-stability, high-sensitivity vibrating wire sensor on a hollow pressure-bearing cylinder. When the load being measured acts on the dynamometer, it causes deformation of the elastic cylinder, which is transmitted to the steel string and converted into strain of the string. An electromagnetic coil excites the steel string and its vibration frequency is measured. The frequency signal is transmitted over a cable to a vibrating wire readout unit, where the frequency value can be read out and the load acting on the anchor cable dynamometer thereby calculated.
Using several vibrating wire sensors can essentially eliminate the influence of uneven or eccentric loading. The built-in temperature sensor monitors the ambient temperature of the dynamometer. To adapt to harsh conditions on site, an integral sealing technique is adopted.
