3D Visualisation & BIM Monitoring Platform

Flat tables and trend charts are not enough when a client, a regulator or a site engineer needs to know where a structure is moving. The 3D visualisation module places every sensor on a 2D drawing or a full BIM model and colours it by current status, so an alarm is immediately located in space. Users can rotate and zoom the model, cut sections in the X, Y and Z directions, measure real distances between two points, hide or isolate components, and read the latest value from any sensor by clicking it.

3D visualisation of monitoring sensors on a structural model

Key Features

  • 2D heat map with sensor positions, status colours and pinned tooltips
  • Section (cross-section) views for linear structures such as tunnels and dams
  • 3D model view with rotation, zoom and sensor overlays
  • BIM integration: sensor tags and alarm tags directly on the BIM model
  • Click any sensor to see its latest value and a 50-point live curve
  • Model tools: walk-through, hide/show entities, model tree, sectioning, Z-axis lock, component properties, annotation, measurement and quick positioning
  • Alarm overlays on the model, acknowledgeable in place
  • Synchronised switching between structures, model, sensor list and alarms

Applications

  • Tunnels, metro stations and underground works
  • Dams and tailings dams
  • Bridges and large-span structures
  • High-rise and complex buildings
  • Heritage and existing structures where geometry matters

How it works

A 2D drawing, point-cloud-derived section or BIM model is uploaded and registered to the project coordinate system.

Each monitoring point is bound to its position on the model, once, during commissioning.

The platform reads live data, applies the configured thresholds and re-colours the point automatically.

Operators and clients see the same picture in the browser — no viewer software, no model files to distribute.
